Biography: Christopher “Chris” W. Nolan Sr.

Chris joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance (PwC CF) in October 2015, after 23 years as a mergers & acquisitions (M&A) specialist, including 8 years as a principal and 15 years as an advisor.  Chris was most recently a Managing Director and the Global Head of M&A for the Grains & Oilseeds, Farm Inputs, and Food Ingredients sectors at Rabobank International.  Prior to Rabobank, Chris worked as the senior M&A banker to the chemicals industry at Deutsche Bank, and he began his investment banking career in the Salomon Smith Barney division of Citibank in the late 1990’s.

Prior to becoming an investment banker, Chris served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at International Specialty Products (ISP), at the time a $1 billion specialty chemicals concern traded on the New York Stock Exchange.  Prior to his joining ISP, Chris worked as a development engineer at National Starch & Chemical Co., at the time a subsidiary of Unilever NV.

During his career as an M&A specialist, Chris has completed numerous domestic and cross-border transactions in the agricultural and industrial equipment, building products, chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors.  His current focus has enabled him to complete numerous transactions in ag equipment, animal feed, dairy and dairy ingredients (yogurt, cheese, fluid milk, and whey), food ingredients, fresh produce, and milling, among numerous subsectors within Food, Beverage & Agribusiness.

Chris graduated Lafayette College summa cum laude with Honors distinction, earning a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1986.  In 1992, Chris earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.  Chris lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children.
